The Timeless and Soulmate collections are made of 14-carat rolled gold, also known as Gold Filled, a material recognized for its high resistance and longevity.
Composed of a thick layer of gold mechanically applied to a brass base, 14-carat rolled gold contains up to 50 times more gold than gold plating, allowing it to withstand the test of time without losing its luster .
14-carat rolled gold does not oxidize and will retain its shine for many years.
Made in the USA and Europe, our 14-karat gold-plated findings are made from recycled gold.
All our jewelry complies with the European REACH regulation, guaranteeing controlled materials for the safety of your skin and the environment. All our findings are nickel-free, lead-free, and cadmium-free.
3-micron gold plating - Fate
The Fate collection is assembled with 3-micron gold-plated findings made in France.
In France, the term "gold-plated" is strictly regulated. For a piece of jewelry to legally bear this designation, it must be coated with a layer of gold at least 3 microns thick , applied by electroplating. This standard thus distinguishes gold plating from simple gilding.
